Novell Linux Desktop odd behavior

I've come across an odd event with NLD on a few computers where the Caps Lock and Scroll Lock lights suddenly flash on and off, and the computer locks up. It seems that this problem commonly occurs right after I enable the wireless interface card and in reaction to selecting the wireless access point that I want to connect to. When I reboot the computer and try again the problem does not recur.

One possible clue might be that the computer is configured to talk to a WAP with a specific MAC address, but I am connecting to a different WAP when the problem occurs.

The computer is a Wintergreen AMD Sempron box. Wireless NIC is the Netgear WG311 version 3, using ndis wrapper. O/S is NLD 9.3 fully patched as of 2/3/06
